Are you a fan of traditional guitar design? If so, you should not miss Furch’s Vintage 1 SM! This guitar is crafted from high-quality Sitka spruce and African mahogany. Together with Furch’s innovative production technologies, these woods give it a beautiful rich balanced sound. The traditional vintage look of the guitar is underscored by a number of natural appointments such as faux tortoise pickguard, double ring rosette with black walnut inlay and body binding made from faux ivory.
The fretboard features white pearl side position markers and fingerboard inlays that improve fingerboard orientation and enhance the guitar’s exclusive appearance.
Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tonewoods.
This guitar is fitted with Furch's new CNR System Active. The CNR System Active provides you with the freedom to quickly and easily adjust your setup and the confidence that your guitar will always feel just as great as the last time you played it, regardless of environmental conditions. This innovation allows you to immerse yourself in your music and strengthen your connection to your instrument—which is what matters most. Whether you play to create, perform, or unwind, the CNR System Active delivers a seamless and enjoyable experience, transforming your guitar into a more reliable and inspiring companion for years to come.
The premium nature of the Vintage 1 SM is underscored by the fact that the soundboard is individually tuned using the voicing process, which enhances the instrument’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Vintage 1 SM has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.
The instrument is protected by Full-Pore Vintage Hand-Brushed Finish, a special finish that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time. Final hand buffing leaves the guitar with an attractive patina that is reminiscent of aged musical instruments.
Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
