A truly dynamic sound is delivered by the all-mahogany Blue MM model.
The Blue MM is one of Furch’s most affordable solid-wood guitars. The instrument’s body is made from carefully selected African mahogany and coated with Furch’s Open-Pore Finish. This combination gives the instrument an organic appearance and beautiful tonality across the entire range while slightly enhancing lower frequencies. The instrument features Open-Pore Finish, a special thin finish that promotes the natural sonic qualities of tonewoods and provides an excellent level of surface protection.
The premium nature of the Blue MM is underscored by the fact that the soundboard is individually tuned using the voicing process, which enhances the instrument’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Blue MM has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.
A high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.
The stylish amber look of the mahogany soundboard is underscored by faux tortoise body binding and a rosette featuring a double ring with a black walnut inlay. The Blue MM is protected by a black pickguard, which has been redesigned by the addition of a transparent extension toward the soundhole. This pickguard shape provides better soundboard protection without disrupting the rosette pattern.
The ebony fingerboard of the guitar is equipped with special shortened frets which deliberately do not extend to the edge of the fingerboard. This prevents them from protruding due to fretboard shrinkage at lower humidity. The resulting area contains a flexible ebony-colored filler, which can perfectly absorb any changes.
