A guitar this cheap has no business being this good

I had to post a review as I really can't believe how good Squiers have become. About 10 years ago, I bought an entry level Squier Tele and the difference is night and day. This has the feels more like the (excellent) MIM Fenders that were around at the time. In addition, I need to give a shout out to the excellent set-up - the guitar plays great straight out of the box.

It's not perfect, nor would you expect it to be. It could benefit from another string tree for the D and G strings, and the pickup is fine, but nothing special. At this price though, it's a great platform for modification. I was intending to eventually change the neck, but it plays so beautifully that I will be keeping it as it is!
