This variant of the venerable CC-100R features a generous nut width of 1 and 5/16". The rolled brass tone ring and the tension hoop are thicker than those previously used, increasing the mass of the pot assembly. This results in a more powerful sound. The CC-100RW also features the Gold Tone Terminator tailpiece, the advanced tailpiece that provides parallel string alignment to the bridge, quick-change stringing, and heavyweight construction that won't bend over time. The fifth-string nut is located in line with the fifth fret for accurate fifth-string intonation, so important for today's modern playing styles. The new, slimmer neck makes for effortless playability.
