At Jimmy Egypt's Guitar Repair Shop, our sole mission is to provide only the highest quality setup and customisation solutions for your instrument. We treat each job as if we were working on our own guitar and ask the question of ourselves “Now what would I want to do to this instrument if it were mine?” We check every aspect of the instrument often beyond what you have requested at no additional cost. We DON'T miss the details that perhaps other people would. We know how annoying that loose switch tip, missing scratchplate screw or similar can be or how much damage that loose strap button could end up causing! All electrical problems including scratchy pots and poor string earths are checked and fixed. We know what needs fixing. We LOVE guitars!…and with almost 40 years experience in making, repairing and upgrading them, we can ensure you a flawless playing experience while consistently providing the ultimate in customer care and support.

With over 40 years experience in making and repairing guitars and having dealt with practically every typical problem in that time as well as countless obscure and challenging ones, we think we can say without contradiction that your instrument repair requirements could not be in better hands!

Design Knowledge

With a BA Hons degree in Product Design and having designed and manufactured every aspect of the guitar and other products from the ground up, we impart that knowledge and expertise into all aspects of our repair work. Our wide knowledge of traditional and modern  craft and manufacturing techniques inform all aspects of the work we do for you.
